The Eye of Africa
Author: Harriet Smith
Harriet Smith exhibits her soulful and inspiring images of animal on her photographic journey through Southern and Eastern Africa, focusing on the wildlife, free to roam through the National Parks. The parks are home to leopards, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, gorillas, elephants, zebras, buffalos and spectacular birds. She fell in love with Africa on her first photographic safari in 1995. Her photographs were taken in: Rwanda’s Park of the Volcanoes; Mahale Mountain Park in Tanzania, Kenya, Botswana Okavango Delta, South Africa’s Kruger National Park and the Sabi Sand Reserve. She is dedicated to capturing the regal beauty of living things and is respectful of the natural habitation of the animals in Africa.
