A Night of Story & Song
In celebration of International Woman’s Day, we invite you to spend the evening with Ziba Shirazi, an accomplished International female poet, singer, songwriter, and raconteur from the Persian land of wine and poetry Shiraz. Ziba is known for her bold and provocative poetry and is often referred to as the voice of women in the Persian community.
Over the past two years, Ziba has been taking Story & Song to different cities in US and Canada in hope of bringing people closer to one another, by sharing their life stories, beliefs and culture.
Story and Song, is the true story of Iranian immigrants who left Iran after the Islamic revolution and scattered throughout the world in search of a better future. It is an untold story of transformation; and the price we all paid as an immigrant in order to mix and match.
Story and Song, is the story of losing and gaining; stories of growth and achievements; stories of who we were, where we came from and who we became as a citizen of the world.
FREE and open to the public. For more information please call 702-507-3964
