A Fresh Breeze from Persia
In celebration of International Woman’s Day, we invite you to spend the evening with Ziba Shirazi, an accomplished International female vocalist, and her jazz band as they create a synergistic experience of passion and expression. Ziba Shirazi is a poet, singer, and songwriter from the Persian land of wine and poetry – Shiraz.
Her compositions are a mellow
fusion of Persian music folded into American Jazz. Each piece is a Persian melody blended with world music, inspired by passion to elicit compassion. She is the personification of World Music. Her collaborations with Chilean-American Jazz pianist, Dr. Jose-Miguel Yamal, has deepened the presence of fiery jazz and Latin music in her performances.
Free and open to the public. For more information please call 702-507-3964 or 507-3459.
