Las Vegas is the entertainment capital of the world, and for decades, entertainment in Las Vegas meant burlesque. From Harold Minsky’s first revues at the Dunes and Lili St. Cyr’s residency at the El Rancho through the glamour years of the ‘70s, visitors to Vegas took in some of burlesque's greatest stars. This panel will introduce the history of burlesque in Las Vegas from the 50's through the present-day burlesque revival. Featuring both burlesque Legends from the ‘50s-‘70s and contemporary performers, the event will begin with a slideshow of images drawn from the Burlesque Hall of Fame's extensive collection, after which each performer will talk about her career and end with a Q&A session.

Co-sponsored by the Burlesque Hall of Fame.

Free and open to the public. For more information on this event, call 702.507.3459.
