The Library invites children from birth through grade five to “Make a Splash—READ!” this summer. Our free Summer Reading Program offers children and their families the opportunity to share reading time together and have fun while keeping track of their reading.

Here’s how to participate:

After June 1, stop by any Las Vegas-Clark County Library District branch to pick up a reading log, or print one from the web site. Read on your own, have someone read to you, or do a little of both. Mark off a space on the log each time you read for 30 minutes. You’ll receive a participation prize every time you come into the library to report your reading (limit one per day).

Complete two hours of reading and earn an entry into the Grand Prize drawing. Complete the entire reading log and earn a Gold Medal!

After July 31, one winner will be drawn from each branch to win the Grand Prize, a $50 Borders gift card.
