NEVADA STATE PARKS COMMISSION

After her success with the Red Rock Canyon project, Governor Paul Laxalt asked Jean to serve on the State Parks Commission. This service was a very empowering experience for Jean as she traveled throughout the state on official business and met many people who shared her concern for environmental issues. In addition to serving on the commission, she continued to be active through the League of Women Voters in securing funding for state parks.
