Who Are We?
The Friends of Southern Nevada Libraries is a volunteer, non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote the services and programs of the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District.

How do We Raise Funds?
Funds are raised through annual membership, used bookstore sales, twice monthly warehouse sales and special book sales events.

How are the Funds Used?
Projects include Reading Las Vegas, The Summer Reading Program, Storytelling Festival, Author Visits, Heritage Month Programs, motion picture licensing, volunteer luncheons and much more.

Bookstore Volunteers Membership
A healthy library district is what makes a community "first class." When you become a Friend of Southern Nevada Libraries member, you are helping the best library district in the West continue to thrive.

As a member, you will receive The Bookmark Newsletter which is published annually and are entitled to free admission to Friends' Warehouse Books Sales. Check out our members' meeting schedule and join the Friends of Southern Nevada Libraries (FOSNL) now.

Volunteering
In addition to becoming a member, volunteering is one of the best ways you can help your local library. If you can spare a little time when you go to your library, contact the Friends and ask about what you can do to help make a difference.

Warehouse Booksales 4440 S. Arville, Suite 23
The Friends of Southern Nevada Libraries host book sales for members twice month. FOSNL membership is available at the door or may be send via US mail. A parking lot sale is available one hour before each scheduled book sale. The Warehouse Booksales are held:
2nd Sunday of each month:	1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
4th Wednesday of each month:	6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Members of The Friends of Southern Nevada Libraries can save on shipping costs on our Amazon.com page. If you find a book you would like to purchase email the Friends at FOSNL@yahoo.com. We will contact you by email and let you know the date of the warehouse book sale when you can pick up and pay for your book at the cashier. Books will be held for only one book sale, if not picked up it will be re-listed on Amazon.com where you will have to pay shipping costs.
